Bring the dog with you!! PET FRIENDLY!! "Close Call" is a charming and unique oceanfront retreat offering 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and breathtaking views of the sparkling Atlantic ocean! Relax and unwind as you watch the waves of the ocean roll in, while rocking away the day on the covered porch. The private beach boardwalk is just steps away from the warm sand and gentle ocean breezes. After your day on the beach, rinse away the sand in the enclosed outdoor shower, complete with hot and cold water. Prepare home-cooked meals and gather together in the family-style kitchen with room for everyone around the table. With a king bed in both the first and second bedrooms, a queen bed and a single bed in both the third and fourth bedrooms, and a sofa bed (linens not provided for sofa bed), there will be enough room for the whole gang! This cozy retreat comes complete with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, icemaker, free Wi-Fi, parking underneath the house, and much more! Please note that bedroom TVs are not connected for cable viewing, they are for use with the provided DVD players.
Pet Friendly: $250 Non-refundable pet fee is required and is limited to a single dog up to 50 pounds. An additional dog(s) may be allowed provided that they are pre-approved by PROACTIVE Vacations. Additional Fees will apply for more than one dog. Guests must crate pets when they are left in the home unattended.

The house was not as well-maintained or well-appointed as some of the other homes we have rented on Holden Beach, but the spaces were functional, the beds were comfortable, and the beach views were amazing.

Great ocean front home. steps away from the beach. The newer walkway to the beach was great, it made washing the sand off your feet convenient and easy. The 4 bedroom house was set up perfectly for our family of 10. The negatives include, that it is a pure rental and it shows. It is in desperate need of some maintenance. The AC must remain at 72 degrees, per house instructions, however the home stayed at a warm 78-80 degrees all week for us. We did have to call to make the property manager aware, however, never heard back from anyone about addressing the AC. The refrigerator was also brought to the property managers attention, as it was unable to keep our food cool enough. Someone did come out the next day and was able to clean the coils in the back of the fridge and the cover in the front of the fridge was layered in dust (he shared that if there was some basic maintenance the refrigerator would have been able to cool better). The house had everything we needed for cooking meals every nite and the porch overlooking the ocean is amazing. That was our hangout spot all week in the evenings, as the house was too warm. With some maintenance and some slight upgrades, this could be an amazing property.
