Rusty Rio is a large rustic home set under large oak trees with distant mountain views. Raised edge swimming pool with poolside cabana, hot tub, party pavillion with lounge chairs, smart tv, bar & dining area. High fenced pool area, with lots of poolside furniture. Pavilion is not overlooked and has beautiful mountain range views from entertainment area.
The large covered party pavilion has party lights with comfortable, upscale lounge seating, bar and outdoor dining tables that lets you really enjoy the mountain views while relaxing with friends and family. Watch as deer bed down in the yard.
Lovely kitchen, perfect great room with rock fireplace and vaulted ceiling. New ice maker for cocktails by the pool. The upstairs loft bunk room make this property very popular. A fun place to gather with family and friends, just a 2 minute to drive to the 2nd crossing on the Frio River.
There's plenty of wild deer that bed down at night and eat during the day. Very private, Rusty Rio sits privately on a quiet country lane only a block off River Road and looks out over Cat Claw mountain. There is the main two story house and and a separate one story guest house gives families the ultimate in flexibility. All bedrooms are large & spacious.
As great as the inside is, the outside is where everyone will want to be. The raised edge swimming pool, poolside cabana, horseshoe pit, charcoal barbeque and fire pit are the ultimate destination for relaxing. Lots of parking, with 2 covered spaces and an electric charging station.
This neighborhood is safe for young kids to walk, bike and hike. Just a few minute drive to shopping, live music venues and 18 hole golf course.
Come for the super close location to float the Frio River, party pool, mountain views and great times!
Hot tub is an additional fee. Sheets and towels are not provided, but can be added for a fee.

The Rustic Ranch was a great home for my big family. The pool, the covered patio with plenty of seating and the sleeping accommodations made our visit to the Frio comfortable and welcoming. The only down side was having a few items disappear from the back yard while everyone was away.

Trip to spend time with family. We had a great time and loved the place. The pool was great. The river

The property has a great location for river access. There are plenty of stores and restaurants for item's needed or wanting to go out to eat. We choose this property because it could accommodate our family and especially since it had a swimming pool. The only two negative notes I will make about this stay is, the pool had chemicals added the day of arrival and we were told we could not swim that day. I don't know why it wasn't added the day before our arrival. We payed for that anyway. The sleeping quarters that house the bunk beds had ants so we had to go buy spray to treat the area along with cleaning out spider webs. Out of fairness to the property, we did enjoy ourselves and had a place to rest and sleep at the end of the day.
