Easy day trips to Cockle Bay, the Tahune, Hobart, Bruny Island and Hartz Mountain National Park, Idyllic beaches, bushwalking, plentiful local produce and weekend Markets. A beautiful place to get away from the bustle of city life - the only shame was that we didn't get to stay longer!

Great spot for getting away from it all, relaxing in privacy. Host was quick to respond with any queries. Easy to find, well supplied kitchen (no dishwasher). We read books and lounged on the sofa it is a good place to relax. Host was quick to respond with any queries. Easy to find. Best mobile internet speed we could get was 3 Mbps, we gave up on the wifi.

A lovely location with an elevated view over the trees and bay beyond, Casita Rica is a well designed, well appointed and private location. The building is quiet and solid in the face of some strong winds during our stay, and the windows provide a light and bright space. Wood fire is nice and toasty, the bathroom is excellent and the kitchen has everything we needed.
