In Winter, find yourself nestled into a true Winter wonderland. The legendary Big Sky Resort is just a stones throw away from the home. Big Sky Resort or, "The American Alps," grants you access to some the BIGGEST skiing in North America. The home grants you easy ski access to the main base at Big Sky. Easily catch the groomed residential ski route to make your way to the main base, this route is weather permitting. Additionally, if the residential trail is closed you can walk to the free skier parking lot and catch the free shuttle. For the Nordic skiers, the world-famous Lone Mountain Ranch is just an 6-mile drive from the home. Find yourself exploring a what seems to be endless wonderland of groomed Nordic trails and snowshoeing. Other close by Winter adventures include snowmobile tours, sleigh-ride dinners, snow-coach tours of Yellowstone National Park, guided ski tours in Yellowstone, dog-sledding tours, and more!

Enjoy community events such as the Farmer's Market and Big Sky's free Summer Concert Series (Summer events are generally spanning from mid-June through early-September). Other close by Summer adventures include whitewater rafting, guided fly fishing, kayaking, zip-lining, horseback riding, hiking, hot air balloon rides, world-class mountain biking and more!
For the Yellowstone National Park adventurer, this home grants quick access to highway 191 south which leads you to the West entrance of Yellowstone. Marvel at the unspoiled scenery during your 45 minute drive along the historic Gallatin River to the entrance of the park. This section of the park provides access to Old Faithful, Gibbon Falls, the largest gathering of Bison, and hiking trails.

The rental company was super responsive, when I couldn’t find the email with the check in instructions and was about to go to Yellowstone without any cell coverage they responded early in the morning.When we were at the property the hot tub was losing heat and they had someone come and fix it within 30 mins .We had a great stay

This is an amazingly well-appointed cabin! Seven ladies shared a stay recently for our 7th annual ski and snowboard trip. It was the first time to Big Sky for most of the group and we had a great time. There was plenty of room for us. Everything we needed was readily accessible and any needed instructions were easy to follow. Parking was available in the garage for smaller cars, or in a alotted space for larger ones. We had no problems getting in the cabin, and the ski in/out was super easy for skiers and boarders. Great hot tub on the patio that was set up to feel private. This cabin was more than we could have hoped for and the bar is set very high for our trip next year. On a side note, I was recently injured on a different ski trip and unable to partake in skiing/boarding, but found an amazing resource through The Summit Hotel. Their Cowboy Concierges offer gratuity-based rides to/from the mountain or town for Powder Ridge Cabin guests. This eased my worries about getting around and helped me avoid FOMO. Everything was fantastic. Location and kitchen amenities were great. Would absolutely stay again. One key point that is noteworthy during ski season: if there has been recent snow, you may need 4 wheel drive to get up the hill to the house. The road does not get maintained very well.
