Arrive to find a bottle of wine as our special gift to welcome you. Enjoy your time here watching the hummingbirds and listening to songbirds, watching the California quail, or hawks circling overhead. The view of the vineyard is spectacular, and can be enjoyed from the covered swing in the backyard or the comfort of your living and dining room.
This newly renovated one bedroom apartment is suitable for a maximum of 2 people. We love children, but the property is not suitable for them due to safety concerns, and rental is limited to ADULTS ONLY. Due to numerous destructive experiences, CATS are not permitted.
There is a separate entrance to this exclusive-use apartment in this owner-occupied home. The color palette is a soothing grey tone, to complement the relaxing atmosphere in our calm neighborhood.
The neighborhood is a small grouping of homes in a primarily rural area, surrounded by orchards and overlooking a beautiful vineyard. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city to be peaceful and serene, the apartment is just a few minutes away from dining, casinos, golf, and shopping.

This is because we tend to rent out to people who stay more than 31 days, and we rent on multiple sites. We have been 'booked' 93% of the time since we began Short Term Renting this property in June 2018, and have gotten all 5 star reviews.
This apartment is specially priced and furnished to encourage 31 night + rentals, but accepts shorter term rentals as available.
The apartment features a bay window overlooking Monserate Winery's vineyard, and an open concept kitchen / living / dining area. More details:
The LIVING ROOM includes a 43" television with streaming TV, HBOMax, Apple+, HULU and STARZ, as well as "Alexa" to answer your questions and play music. There are two recliners to relax in, as well as a loveseat. The coffee table top lifts to provide a work surface from the loveseat.
The DINING area includes a glass topped table with two chairs located in the bay window topped with a chandelier, with a view of the vineyard and succulent fountain.
The fully functional KITCHEN has a French door refrigerator, gas range with oven, dishwasher, and a pantry, for plenty of storage space. Dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and a variety of cooking appliances are provided. Two USB charging outlets are provided.
The BEDROOM features an comfortable king size mattress and an electric "fireplace" as well as a walk-in cedar closet. There is a chair and lamp for reading and a luggage rack and hamper. The bed has Mellanni microfiber sheets, which are super-soft. Four pillows plus 2 shams are provided for your comfort, as is a down comforter in a super-soft microfibre duvet. Four USB charging outlets, an extra blanket, and ample hangars are provided.
The 2020 renovated BATHROOM includes a new shower and sink, and a bidet installed in the toilet. A full set of towels as well as 2 bath sheets, are provided. The shower has sliding barn door style doors, and a mural of Italy. A built in night-light and memory foam bath mat completes the comfortable accessories.
A blanket and two towels are provided for beach use.
There is SHARED ACCESS to a convenient laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and hanging rack; a covered backyard patio and eating area; yard with covered swing; and BBQ.
The YARD and GARDEN consists of roses, iris, and a variety of flowers and succulents. Crape Myrtle trees line the front and side of the property. Garden art, hummingbird feeders and wind spinners provide visual interest. A succulent fountain, and variety of lit features gives the garden nighttime allure. This garden has been featured in the Fallbrook Garden Club's member tours. While small, it is beautiful!

What a fantastic property! Teri and Mike were fabulous hosts, and their dog was so friendly. The space was lovely and thoughtfully supplied. The kitchen had everything we needed. The shower was large. The bed was very comfortable. Throw in the amazing views and a bottle of wine, and what more could you possibly want? It was incredible! Thank you!

Teri and Mike were fantastic hosts. They both were very friendly. They checked on us throughout our stay. The property is in a very nice Neiborhood and nicely decorated. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The patio furniture is nice and comfortable. The view is fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable. We couldn't ask for better accommodations. We will stay there again if the need arises. We thank them both for making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Five full stars!

I’ve stayed in a number of long term rentals;Vineyard View is the best I’ve encountered. If you do much of your own cooking, this is your place. In addition to the usual large and small appliances, the pantry here includes an Instapot, immersion blender, slow cooker, stand mixer, air fryer, citrus juicer, rice cooker, electric kettle, hey, even an egg cooker if that’s your thing! There’s plenty of counter space.The suite has a spacious feel, with bay windows opening onto a, yes, vineyard view. Furnishings are both functional and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Pricing is competitive.But really, the best part is the hosts. Teri and Mike are welcoming, thoughtful, generous, thorough, and responsive. When I asked about a knife sharpener, Teri brought me hers, then ordered one for the rental.Vineyard View exceeded all expectations, and I’ve booked my return. I could easily continue, but if you need more convincing than this, I don’t know what planet you’re on.

Teri & Mike are excellent hosts!! Bonus, they have an adorable little dog named Princess who will gladly be your best friend!! While working at "home" & traveling back-and-forth to my in Colorado, I stayed with Teri and Mike for 3 1/2 months this winter. The beautiful backyard was a tremendous respite from my daily work, with views of the vineyard and plenty of wonderful birds visiting. It was private, I could make all my own meals, and convenient to local freeways for traveling but not intrusive in that I could not hear the freeways from the house. It was quiet & got to see beautiful sunsets. I couldn't have been happier!!
