Colorful Loft next to the Seafront Vittorini in Ortigia island.
Loft Mercado takes its name out of the beautiful and close traditional market of Ortigia. The living area is downstair and the bedrooms on the open space mezzanine. The ceilings come with wood beams all around the apartment, as well as the wood flooring. Together they give to the flat a welcoming atmosphere. The two queen-size beds are at the opposite sides of the mezzanine and they are separated by the bathroom, that comes with a shower. The second bathroom with shower, is downstairs. Our guests will surely notice how every detail is well-finished: the bedrooms design combines with the pastel colours of the living room, fitted with a double sofa bed and a TV, and the modern kitchen fully equipped with amenities, including an oven and a dish washer. Finally, the location of the house is the perfect choice for moving around the beautiful city of Siracusa, as well as living next the beach and the Seafront Vittorini.
In the apartment every comfort is available such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioner and heating for enjoying a perfect stay, both in hot and cold time.

For relax and sea lovers, Eastern Sicily and the surroundings of Siracusa are the perfect choice. Leaving the ancient Greek city and going toward the south, the best equipped beaches worth of a visit are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name is due to the natural sweet spring water and to the unique white sand. Then, In the island of Ortigia there are some equipped solarium (Zefiro and Nettuno), as well as the free beach of Cala Rossa. Going further south, about 30 kms far away from Siracusa, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. For those looking for cultural and historical sites, it is recommended to visit Teatro Greco and its archeological site with the famous Orecchio di Dionisio (a limestone cave shaped as a human ear), the Museum Paolo Orsi, then the Latomie dei Cappuccini, and finally the island of Ortigia with its natural and historic eye-catching landscapes. Finally, our guests should visit the town of Noto, the seafront of Tonnara di Avola and the fisherman village of Marzamemi. Great stay in Siracusa. Apartment was clean and as advertised. Check in process was incredibly smooth (Riccardo was excellent). And the payment is located across the street from a large parking lot if you are driving. Only glitch was check out - no one ever came to get the keys so we just let them and headed out to the airport. Was not a problem. Thanks for a great stay!

Spacious and great location near market... but also lots of bar activity on weekends and noisy. I imagine summer is very noisy if you want to keep windows open. Kitchen items could be better condition and better supplied - e.g. collander, matching wine glasses, and insrtuctions on how to use oven, switches relating to appliances, etc. A two day learning process of trial and error before we got the hang of everything.

The house is too big on two floors and not very clean. Only one set of bath towels will be given for 3 nights.
