"There's probably a reason why the water here is a slightly different shade of gorgeous than just about anywhere else along the Florida Panhandle. But we would rather take it in than figure it out. Still known as "the Luckiest Fishing Village", destin has become much more than that, offering great variety in terms of lodging, dining, and nightlife.
'BABS BEACH 2' , is a premium condo on the 14th floor. What a fabulous view!. Right on the beach with an unobstructed view! Tile floors throughout. You can have your morning coffee on the balcony and look at the sugar white sandy beach and the brilliant aquamarine water. See the sunrise, watch the dolphin play, see pelicans dive, and the manatee swim. Look left and look beach, beach!!
AND OF COURSE......WIFI!!
One master bedroom and twin bunk beds in the hall. Pull out couch with a queen bed for any extra persons. Master bedroom has a king bed and a private bath with a tub and shower. Second full bath with a walk in shower is off the hall. Master bedroom has a flat screen t. As well as a flat screen tv in the living area. Living area has sliding screen doors to the balcony. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean! The updated kitchen is fully equipped. Just bring the chef! The dining area seats 4 and the two bar stools add two more quests. The loving area is quite spacious with floor length mirrors to enhance the view! All the comforts of home!
Arrival is easy! No waiting to check in. Go right to the elevator to the 14th floor. There is an electronic lock with a numeric code. I will provide the code as your dates approaches. Don't worry about loosing your keys at the beach. For security no one has the code but you! The code changes with each guest and will change when you leave. So take everything when you leave. You won't be able to get back in!

We rented this condo for a friend's 50th bday/girls trip and we have an amazing time. The property is absolutely gorgeous!

Room description was accurate. Overall a good experience. We saw dolphins everyday but 1 during a 1 week stay. Security was ever present and we definitely felt safe. It would have been helpful to have local recommendations for things to do and where to eat, along with the rules and amenities of the condo in print for reference. We’ve stayed at places before that had a book where people could leave who stayed there and some of their thoughts. That would have been fun to read.

This was a nightmare from the beginning. Our room was not ready at 6pm! It is confusing to stay here if VRB0 is the reservation process - because the property management on site has NOTHING to do with who owns/manages the individual units. I don't think the owner of this unit is to blame for the room not being ready - but nevertheless, it was not okay. We had groceries and a tired family waiting. The unit owner secured another room within 30 minutes which was helpful and appreciated. The make good room was subpar and luckily we were able to get back in to the originally chosen room the next day around 11. Our unit was lovely, no complaints. If you are a family/couple who doesn't mind a crowded parking lot and tons of slow elevators and crowded pools - you will be okay here because the location directly on the beach might be enough for you. If you are looking for less chaos and something newer, better run - i suggest elsewhere.
