The Love Shack is a small 1 bedroom cottage at Rathkell's Farm just a short drive from the village. It features a fully equipped kitchen as well as a barbeque on the deck. The lounges are nice and comfy and perfect for snuggling up together to watch a good movie or just enjoy each others company while the gas heater keeps you nice and warm in winter.
The recently renovated bathroom has a large double sized shower and a picture window looking out over the surrounding bushland and the whole cottage has a lovely blue & green colour scheme and has a very relaxing feel to it. The polished timber floorboards complete the picture and you cant help but forget the rest of the world during your stay. All in all a romantic weekend away at the Love Shack is sure to impress and delight your special someone.
Surrounded by bushland, you can go for walks and see the some of the local wildlife, or visit the beautiful village of Kangaroo Valley where you can explore the many cafes and boutique shops that offer a variety of wares.
Rathkells farm has plenty of river frontage for guests to use and is perfect for swimming and kayaking over summer.
Rathkell's farm is also home of The Wood Shed which sleeps up to 6 people and The Pavilion which sleeps 12 over 5 bedrooms and has a pool. Although the houses are far enough away from each other for privacy , they are perfect to book together for a family group etc
Rathkell's is a working cattle farm, you enter the property via cattle grate and drive along a private unsealed road. * This is a working cattle farm; sorry no pets allowed.
