BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustments.

We had the best time, the condo was perfect size and had a peek of the ocean it was perfect and tons of room for our 5 person stay.

Suite was huge, but you don’t know what you’re getting until you check in. We booked a 2 bedroom and ended up with 2 bedrooms and a loft with 5 beds, but only 1 couch. Kitchen was sparse but useable. There wasn’t any cleaning supplies and realized we needed a broom with all the sand, but the front desk brought us one, so that helped. Missed having beach chairs but was able to rent them, and loved that we could exchange beach/pool towels daily!

Pros: Convenient location for that part of the island Perfect size unit for family of 4 Having resort features was an added bonus Cons: Birds. So many birds and so absurdly loud at 4:30am. Unit was right by elevator and parking garage so kids in front bedroom were woken up very early every morning. Lack of beach (certainly no fault of the owners) but wasn’t enough beach there or chairs to even sit out on. Get rid of having to scan your room key to exit the parking lot. Annoying and pointless.
