Fabulous lodge! Idyllic location for a peaceful short break but Llandrindod Wells & Builth Wells are close enough for cafes, restaurants & shops. Only a half hour drive to the beautiful Elan Valley reservoirs. The lodge is extremely well equipped, clean & modern with a fabulous log burner which was very welcomed on our bitterly cold, snowy stay. The icing on the cake is the amazing hot tub. In better weather I’m sure the views would be incredible. Highly recommended!

Lovely lodge, very clean, all ground floor with wet room style showers so very accessible. The views are outstanding including the stars on a clear night. The kids loved watching the cows and wild bunnies from the hot tub. We found lots to do in the area with our family ( 2 adults, 6yr old & 10yr old). Including The Elan valley dams, the small animal breeds farm, Hampton castle gardens with a proper maze and Llandrindod lake with boats/canoe/paddle boards. We found some nice places to eat. Even though you feel remote a shop or pub is only 10 mins drive away. Perfect short break. Jo the owner was lovely.
