3 bedroom cabin with spectacular mountain and downtown Gatlinburg views!
Bear View is perfectly located just minutes from the action of downtown Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Our guests observe stunning views of downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park while enjoying all the comforts of home.
The cabin is conveniently located in close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all of the major attractions of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville; less than 10 minutes from restaurants, rides, shops, colorful fountains, a ferris wheel, and live music at newest attraction center, The Island in Pigeon Forge. Just a couple of miles from the cabin and you’re right in the heart of the attractions, entertainment, shopping, and a wide range of dining selections on the main parkway in Gatlinburg. The Pigeon Forge parkway is just 20 minutes from the cabin and offers fun for all ages with go-carting, in-door laser tag, and video gaming arcades for the kids; and tons of shops offering quilts, antiques, and a wide range of local shops with arts, crafts, and collectibles that make the days long and the stories even better. When evening falls, there are numerous options for entertainment from musicals, to magic, to shindigs and down home country fun
Cabin Layout & Comforts With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, three levels, and an open main floor layout, Bear View cabin will comfortably accommodate the entire family. Each of the 3 levels provides you with options to meet the wishes of everyone in your family. Vaulted ceilings in the living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen. King bedroom suite on the main entry level. Queen bedroom suite upstairs and a queen bedroom suite on the lower level. Hot tub is located on the lower level deck.
Upstairs is a large open loft area with a recreation room with a pool table that yields views that offer numerous distractions to the game. . The cabin is Wi-Fi enabled throughout, so bring your laptop and you can stay “connected”, if the urge hits you.
Roads are paved and well maintained to the cabin however we are in the mountains and in the event of snow you will need a 4 wheel drive.

Great views! We seen a bear in the backyard a few times. The chalet is very nice. The icemaker didn’t work and I reached out a few times about it (we ended up having to buy ice) so don’t forget to grab some on the way in. The place was very clean except for the downstairs toilet which does not reflect on the owner but the housekeeper. I did not reach out about that. I just cleaned it myself. When it says there’s room for two cars, there is only room for two cars, as you are parking on the street so to speak… however, we were offered to be able to park at the clubhouse. Also, again to no fault of the owner, they do hold your deposit for a couple weeks after you check out and the deposit is very expensive via VrboThank you again for a lovely stay

Very comfortable home with amazing views of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. For these views you have to be comfortable driving on narrow mountain roads. We saw bears in the backyard from the decks almost everyday! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating.

It is an old house with a nice updated kitchen. Cons: AC is very noisy in the lower level bedroom and does not ventilate the upper level as well as the other floors. The grill on the front porch is rusty and dirty. The shower in the upper level bathroom smells moldy and the rooms fan does not work properly. As for the road, it has lots of steep hills and turns and is very difficult to navigate at night or in rainy/foggy conditions.Pros: Nice mountain view but partially obstructed by trees. The hottub is a plus! It was clean and comfortable. The pool table was so much fun to use too! The couches in the living room and the beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable and clean.Thank you for hosting us!
