Mellow vibe and eco-friendly, the Blue Pelican Beach Rental is a cozy, ground level unit of our home complete with a full kitchenette, AC, and private patio just seconds from the warm sands of Mission Beach and Mission Bay. Patio dining and BBQ reserved for guests. Your hosts live upstairs (with kids) - just let us know if you need anything. Paddleboards, boogie boards, and beach chairs available.
Located just off the bustling main drag of Mission Blvd., this unit is the perfect spot for a couple or solo traveler visiting for a lively beach getaway. A complete tear down and remodel was just completed in 2022, so the space still feels new!
Brew fresh coffee and make breakfast in our brand new mini kitchen. Then, step off the patio and onto a laidback walkway. Turn west and feel sand beneath your feet in 30 seconds or head east towards walkable local shops, cafes, dining and night life.
Located within walking distance from Belmont Park (a local amusement park), The Blue Pelican Beach Rental is surrounded by buzzing night life, quaint coffee spots, beach shops, and the beautiful Pacific Ocean on one side and Mission Bay on the other.
Rent surfboards, paddle boards, and e-bikes on Mission Blvd and hop in an Uber for more adventures: we are 5 minutes from Sea World and 20 minutes from the San Diego Zoo and amazing museums in Balboa Park. Return home, store leftovers in our full-sized fridge, and enjoy the evening on the patio under the palm trees. Rest easy behind black out curtains in a brand new queen-sized bed and store your things in a walk-in closet.

We enjoyed our stay at this modern little studio. It had everything we needed. We loved the convenient location for both the beach and food options. This is a quaint little place for 2 people. We would definitely stay here again.

We were traveling without a car so this location is perfect for exploring Mission Beach. Cute little place with a nice bathroom and big closet for the room. Beach is a 10 second walk, left out the door. Main drag is 10 seconds out to the right. Great places to eat near by, and a great little market for most needed items.Host was quick to respond and helpful. We had a TV issue and the TV was replaced while we were out walking around.Host was accommodating as we needed a late check out, even offering to store our luggage in the garage until we came back at 2pm. Who does that? Only negative is that it is a little loud from floor above the room.It was not a huge deal as we were out and about most of the day.Great little place for a quick beach trip.Thank you.

If you love being close to the beach, this is the perfect spot. It's a great little studio for two. The outside patio space is such a bonus. Steps away from the beach and the boardwalk (great for walking, biking, running, etc), So many great spots around for food. If you feel like cooking, everything is available in the unit to do that. On a gorgeous day, parking might be a little tight. The lot mentioned in booking is not a 24hr lot (no parking 2-4 am), but it's super easy to move the car after sundown - so no stress there. Lindsey (host) was super responsive. Book it and enjoy!
