There are three big "C's" that are important to us when we book a vacation rental. Communication, convenience, and CLEANLINESS. The Saban at Sherwood nailed all three. The host was responsive and professional and answered all questions promptly. The location of the rental can't be beat if you're looking for proximity to UofA or downtown Tuscaloosa. And it was extremely clean, which is saying something for a house that is about to celebrate it's 75th birthday! It has extreme character and charm while providing all you'd need for a fun stay. Beautiful pool with a terrace-level garage that's been converted to patio space. Comfortable furnishings and decor ... it just felt like going back to stay in your childhood home, but someone painted the paneling white! (Smart move, by the way.) Minor things were addressed without a hitch. If you are in a sedan, take the driveway at an angle so you don't scrub anything underneath! But don't let this tip scare you away. If you need space for your family to stay together vs. hotel rooms, I'd recommend it!
