This one bedroom first floor level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 1307489 and 1307347. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, and fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is 2.3 mile from our property. Bayfield has fresh fish markets, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music in the park Tuesdays and Thursdays, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trail and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

We liked the place overall. The microwave didn’t work, and for 2 adults we were left with a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and lass then half a roll of paper towel. The bathroom had sand on the floor and hair on the walls. ( not so much property owners fault but cleaners) bathroom sink had some clogging issues. We appreciate it being pet friendly ( we didn’t need it this time) kitchen was nicely supplied. Bed was comfortable & location was great.

The property inside and out was clean and well maintained. The pool was beautiful. Only small issue was uncomfortable bed, everything else was great. Kitchen was fully stocked.

Thanks for a nice stay. The marina location was useful. We enjoyed a stroll down the docks. The couple-minute drive to Bayfield was perfect.

The place itself and the location is quaint. I am not one to complain and I know people who always complain say that, but I mean it. A few things would have made our stay a little more enjoyable. The damp linens on the closet floor seemed strange. They did smell washed so I hung them around to dry so we could use them on the futon. When we did put the futon down, a lot of long dog hair was present but I found a vacuum and cleaned it up. We wanted to make popcorn one night but the microwave doesn’t work. There was also no exhaust fan when cooking but the fire alarm didn’t go off when I made breakfast, so not sure that works either. The AC shut off automatically due to a dirty filter but I didn’t know how to get it off/out to clean it so I just figured out how to override the filter thing so it would stay on. This was also a bummer because our 11 year old has bad allergies so he was pretty stuffy. The bathroom sink drains like molasses in wintertime and the cold water barely trickles out. The toilet runs constantly and the toilet seat itself is broken. The housekeeper definitely sloshed some Fabuloso around but the outline of dirt along the trim in the kitchen told me the mop just pushed the grime to the edges; it was a solid effort though. The pool is indefinitely closed for maintenance, that would have been nice to know. Oh, the lock for the dumpster is missing so the bears visit every night. The bed is comfy.
