Being up in the mountains the views are lovely from the property. The surroundings are peaceful and we had a lovely relaxing week. Getting into St Etienne was easy - our stay involved going to two of the World Cup rugby matches and the property was an excellent base in that regard. There are nice restaurants within a few minutes' drive. The property was beautifully clean and well equipped and the host, Christine, was very welcoming and helpful.

We had a great stay here and the house worked great for our large group. The space worked great and let us spread out and relax. The house is well furnished and had everything we needed. The patio has great views of the valley. Christine was very responsive and helpful.

We had a fabulous and relaxing time at Valla-en-Gier! Christine was an excellent host and provided everything we could have asked for at the property. Being located very nearby, they were able to assist with anything we needed.
Nearby towns nestled within the mountains were very picturesque and the view from the house was superb. We would highly recommend the house as a getaway for the family, making use of proximity to Lyon, Grenoble and even Geneva.
