Most weekends, the sand bar is a host of friends and family coming together with music and a possible game of water volleyball. Everyone who comes to the sand bar is welcomed to join the entertainment. On Thursday nights, live music is played at the band shell at old settlers park, where you can see boats anchored in the sandbar listening to the music.
