Beautifully furnished in a timeless colour palette, No. 4 Pentire Rocks is the perfect coastal hideaway. Boasting all the contemporary touches that make a holiday home truly memorable. This charming three-bedroom maisonette is nestled in the popular area of New Polzeath and just a short walk from the iconic surfing haven of Polzeath beach; it is the ideal base in which to explore the delights of North Cornwall.
The spacious open-plan living is on the ground floor is equipped with all the crucial amenities needed to relax, guests can kick-back and enjoy their Cornwall Hideaway in style. The kitchen comes full equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave and dishwasher. Enjoy family meals around the dining table and then relax in the sitting room playing family games or enjoy a movie. The well maintained and enclosed patio and outdoor furniture lends itself to long summer nights spent tending the charcoal barbecue or admiring the infamous Cornish sunset.
Blessed in terms of location and ideal for enjoying Polzeath and its beach throughout the year – whether for long, lazy afternoons in the sun or for bracing the famous South West Coast Path in the crisp autumn light. With its vast expanse of sand and exceptional surf, there are plenty of adventures to be had right on your doorstep. Polzeath beach is also home to two well-known surf schools offering equipment hire, lessons and practical beachside advice. We spent a week at No4 during august, the house was very easy to find and a bonus of a private parking space. The house was lovely and bright, comfy sofas and a great kitchen, the only thing missing was a bottle opener! There was a lovely little hamper and milk in the fridge. We also found bodyboards, surfboards and other beach bits in the shed which was a bonus! We had a wonderful relaxing stay which was well needed. Amazing views over Polzeath just a short walk away and a 15min walk along the costal path into Polzeath, fantastic beach but very busy cafes etc. Short drive from Port Isaac, Wadebridge and Bodmin and an easy ferry from Rock 10mins away to Padstow.
The only small grip was how firm the beds were, some would probably love that though.

The house was ideal for our family of four, comfortable enough for our needs but not too smart for the children. The bedrooms are a good size and the bathrooms are all you need. That said there could be a few more home comforts to make it more special - the kitchen isn't well equipped at all. Very basic utensils and serving dishes - next time I'd bring my own. The outdoor area was so useful, being able to come back from the beach in wetsuits (wet and cold) and leave it all outside plus use the room outside for storing things. It could just be tidier - my husband spent an hour the first day sweeping up all the leaves and using the hose to move sand to the side of the garden. It really wouldn't take much to give it a tidy up and make it a bit more special for sitting out in the evening.
That said for the price and the location it was perfect and we would definitely consider staying again. Thank you.

This is our second stay at this delightful holiday home. Apart from the great location ( walking to the beaches at Polzeath and New Polzeath ) it’s so comfortable either lovely bright crisp decor , well equipped kitchen and space for our family of grown up kids and their partners. I also love the endless supply of hot water . The welcome hamper is breathtaking and really makes for a great holiday atmosphere from the start .Theres plenty of space to wash and dry wetsuits outside in the garden in private . We love this place

Property was nice with good size accommodation, however everything looked a little tired. Could be really lovely with a makeover. Window in 3rd bedroom didn't close properly and had a huge crack / gap down the side. Surprised there was no facility for recycling rubbish.
