Room was fine. It was an upstairs room. It was a bit confusing when we got there cause there’s a gate that looks private but the host came out and walked us in. I’ve always done a self check in and was advised I would be doing so here so it was a bit off putting, but she was very nice. It was weird when she mentioned the downstairs neighbor being a bit of a grumpy old man. He was nice to us, but was very much outside in everyone’s business. Nice to watch the sunset on the dock. The water is pretty gross though, definitely don’t have expectations of getting in. One of the fans doesn’t work, but the air conditioning works pretty good. We got food delivered and it was not good at all and very expensive. The area seems pretty ghetto and run down. If you are planning on using the sofa/futon to sleep it was rock hard, totally not sleepable. The bed was ok, old and kind of rolled to the middle but not uncomfortable. But the pillows were terrible, old, flat, cheap pillows. Overall, things were clean, and ok, it was just a bit more run down than expected. She warned us about mayflies being insane and not to open the doors and windows at night with the lights on. They were pretty intense. I stayed out on the patio painting past sunset and they were swarming more than I’ve ever seen any bugs swarm. However I was very surprised that they didn’t mess with me at all. They just flew around but weren’t trying to land on you like flies and gnats do.

Maureen was lovely and the sunset and sunrise were beautiful!

Place was very clean and guest very polite. We will visit again.

Nice place with beautiful views. The rental was clean and comfortable.
