Chimmi House is a second floor, waterfront 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom suite. Incredible waterfront views of all the watersports action and sunsets year-round!
Chimmi House features teak floors, tile bathrooms, carpeted bedrooms and a full modern award-winning kitchen with an s-bend granite cocktail bar. The living room features waterfront views, leather furniture, a flat screen smart TV and cable. Space to entertain includes a dining room table with seating for 6 and bar seating for 4. The waterfront primary bedroom has a private full bathroom, walk-in tile shower and walk-in closet. The second bedroom features a king bed while the third has a queen bed. Each bedroom has a flat screen smart TV with cable. The shared full bath has a bathtub shower combo. The living area and primary bedroom provide access to the west facing deck with waterfront views. The bedrooms provide access to a water view balcony.
Guests of Watermen's Retreat get kite launching and landing access at REAL Watersports and 10% off at the REAL Watersports Rental Shop.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi internet access, Tesla & EV charging station, an in-suite washer and dryer, base level secure gear storage, covered parking, an elevator and quick access to REAL Watersports and Watermen's Bar & Grill. All Watermen's Retreat properties include bed linens, made beds upon arrival, bathroom towels, drip style coffee maker, coffee filters, salt & pepper, dishwasher soap tabs, dish soap, sponge and kitchen towels.
Our three-bedroom waterfront suites are named after two iconic kiteboarding locations in Cape Hatteras: Chimmi House and SDA.

Spacious, clean, modern, new. Would highly recommend. Sunsets & watching all the kite boarders in the sound off the deck was phenomenal. Lots of good restaurants close & Watermen’s grill on property was fabulous.

Pros: nice modern condo. Living room, master bedroom, and master bath spacious. Nice flooring, modern granite, and appliances. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and knowledgeable of the area.
Cons: Donna the property manager doesn’t answer your questions. When she does reply it’s about 24 hrs later and she answers incorrectly. Check in stops at 6pm. There is no insulation between floors so you hear every foot step from the floor above you. The pictures on the website isn’t what you’re getting. This isn’t one person renting their condo. The whole building is for rent so you don’t know which view or condo you’re getting. Our first 2 nights were a view of a road not a beach front view. When I pointed out the pictures from the vrbo website the gentleman moved us to a water front view. It’s advertised as a 3 bedroom but, it’s really a 2 bedroom and a very small office with no closet. No pool. Very few sit down restaurants in this area. No groceries stores so make sure you pick up food and drinks before you get there.
