Perched above Highway 28, our home enjoys sweeping panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. We believe in setting honest expectations—because of this elevated location, you will hear some traffic from the highway below. Like many homes with exceptional views, it’s simply part of the setting, and most of our guests feel the breathtaking scenery and convenient location are well worth the tradeoff.

Tahoe Tranquility is professionally cleaned between every stay using EPA-registered disinfectants that exceed CDC and VRBO cleaning recommendations, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for every guest.

• Sleeps up to 10 guests • Three-night minimum stay • Four-night minimum during most major holidays • Check-in: 4:00 PM • Check-out: 10:00 AM • Early check-in or late check-out may be available when scheduling permits • Driveway parking for two vehicles • Portable fans provided (no air conditioning) • No garage • No hot tub • This home is not childproof. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times
A separate caretaker apartment occupies the lower level and has its own completely private entrance. It does not share your indoor living spaces, parking area, or outdoor deck, allowing guests to enjoy complete privacy during their stay.

The house is in a great location & very clean. Host lives on property. Quiet hours start at 8pm. Host provided all the essentials, which was super kind. No AC, lots of fans, but still got too warm late afternoon & at night for comfortable sleeping. Great outdoor deck space with beautiful views, road below was very loud. With no AC had to have windows open, so pretty loud inside too while sleeping. Home is quite outdated, dark and low ceilings for the rooms downstairs. Appreciated the host’s hospitality - she made us brownies.

Had an excellent stay at this property. We were two families who stayed here for a weekend. House was very spacious, fully stocked with everything we needed and the view was stunning. Our host Ginger was very helpful and met us while checking in and out.

Ginger was an amazing host. The details were by far more than expected, from the fresh baked brownies at arrival, amenities for our pup Enzo, and even providing loofah sponges in the bathroom. The home was very clean and had amazing views of Lake Tahoe. We spent our evenings out on the deck enjoying a glass of wine, the view of the lake and the beautiful sunsets.

Our family had such a relaxing and memorable week staying at Ginger and Terry’s tranquil home in Lake Tahoe. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—there were freshly baked brownies waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch! The home was stocked with everything we could possibly need, and Ginger even provided treats for our dogs, making our pups feel just as welcome as we One of our favorite parts of the trip was spending each evening on the balcony, playing games together and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The amazing view of Lake Tahoe was absolutely breathtaking—we couldn’t get enough of this spectacular view! After our fun-filled days, we slept incredibly well in the cozy, comfortable beds. Every detail of our stay made us feel right at home. We truly appreciated Ginger and Terry’s hospitality and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend this wonderful home for anyone looking for a peaceful Lake Tahoe getaway!
