Outdoor spaces rule here! We highly recommend a 4WD vehicle to access this property. Relax sitting out on the deck just listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy being nestled in the privacy of the woods as you sit in the hot tub. There's even a private balcony off the master bedroom!
Inside there is a wide open living area where friends and family can mingle for dining, recreation, and conversation. Gather round and cozy up on the large sectional sofa and recliners for movie night. Please note that the wood stove is only ornamental and not functional. There is WiFi at Bogg's Mountain Lodge. The television is streaming only, so bring your subscription information to log into your channels, just don't forget to log out when you leave! There is also a DVD player, so bring the movies you want to watch. There are a few on the shelf above the television, too. Find plenty of reading material on the bookshelf located in the hall.
The first bedroom on the left features a queen bed. Straight ahead is the shared bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom is on the right and also features a queen bed. Upstairs is the master king bed, large open space, a desk and even a futon for the guests who decided to join your group last minute! The master bath has a walk-in shower. There is also a private deck out the sliding glass doors. The perfect place to relax and unwind.
The kitchen is stocked for the chef of the group. All cookware, dinnerware, flatware and utensils are supplied. The coffee maker is a standard drip coffee maker, so bring the java and all the necessary items for the perfect morning cup of coffee! There is also a coffee grinder and toaster. The appliances are full size and there is a microwave for your convenience. The washer and dryer are located in the first guest bedroom.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Bogg's Mountain Lodge is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 3 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel. A 4WD vehicle is highly recommended to access the property.
• Pets: Bogg's Mountain Lodge is Not pet-friendly. No pets allowed.
• Location: 5 miles to Clayton, GA and 28 miles to downtown Helen.

The listing was accurate. House was very clean and comfortable. Overall, I would likely stay here again.Minor gripes, not dealbreakers:- overdue maintenance on the dirt/rock road leading to the house. This road is genuinely rough, but you are warned ahead of time that 4wd is needed. That is not a joke, take it seriously. It would be TOUGH in the rain/snow/ice, but we didn't have to deal with that. Main issue is that there were overhanging trees and branches all over the place that hit and scratched the car on the way in. I had to manually (try to) move the overhanging tree branches out of the way after arrival to avoid scratching my vehicle every time I went in and out. This is an easy fix that should be done. The road is tough enough...very very rocky and bumpy but that part can't be helped I guess.- the jacuzzi did appear to work, but was noticeably dirty. Dirt sitting on the bottom, and water was not clear. Didn't use it because of that, but again not a dealbreaker.- shower faucet in master bath not great...needs replacement

This property was just as described. Very cute and tucked away in the woods. A little bit of a steep driveway but not too bad unless it rains and you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. It was very clean and I would definitely recommend this place. Property manager provided great customer service also. Plenty of shopping and Tallulah Falls State Park are nearby. Must try Universal Joint restaurant. It was very good!!

Great cabin for family weekend getaway! We enjoyed the fire pit & hot tub!! And had streaming so we could watch first wknd of college football!
