We believe that Moose Creek Lodge is the ultimate Helen Georgia Vacation Rental. This cabin is a tribute to the incredible talent of several local craftsmen and artisans. This one-of-a-kind cabin is built in the Adirondack Mountain architectural style with a timber frame wood interior, hand-hewn log porches, and mountain laurel porch railings. It is perfect for anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, or any special occasion.
The kitchen cabinets are handcrafted from antique wood removed from a local barn and topped with a solid copper counter top. The bathroom sink is a locally crafted pottery vessel which sits atop an antique barn wood slab. From the large walk-in custom tiled shower to the huge antler chandeliers, every detail of this cabin was crafted for rustic mountain luxury.
On the large screened in porch, you will find a bubbling hot tub, a swing, rocking chairs and a charcoal grill just waiting for you to use. Sleep beside a roaring fire on a one-of-a-kind king size bed, handcrafted by a local North Georgia wood workers. At night, cozy up to a bonfire under the stars at the outdoor fire ring. Relax in the indoor jacuzzi garden tub and stretch out in front of the huge wood burning stone fireplace. Children love the built-in twin beds on each side of the fireplace.

Loved seeing a Mama bear and her 2 cubs right at the edge of the front porch. Did not love the morning wake-up calls from the birds flying into the windows and then pecking on the windows for an hour or two each morning. 😂 Everything was very lovely overall.

It was clean and well maintained it is off the beaton path and the drive way could use a little work to make it look a little more appealing to out of state customers. How ever around the cabin it's self was well maintained and the cabin was very clean.

Very lovely place. But, you can’t control the air. There is no fan to circulate air. There is very little water pressure in the kitchen sink. The shower head water pressure makes the water feel like needles hitting your skin. The screened in porch had loads of pollen all over everything. The driveway to the cabin has no marker to show you’re at the correct one. Very difficult to find the right one. Other than that, very charming and private.

Cabin was cute but there were problems with how the place was described and its general condition. The shower was only luke warm. We ended up using the garden tub instead. Pots and pans were of a garage sale variety and needed to be washed before using after we discovered mouse droppings in one of the pans. There was no glass ware with the exception of the coffee mugs. All other containers were made of cheap plastic. Even the wine glass, and there was only one, was made of plastic. The coffee pot also had to be washed prior to use. No screened-in porch as listed. The screens had all been ripped off the frames of the porch. It was nice and quiet at night until the hot tub cycled on and off which was quite loud and often when you were trying to sleep. I suspect the cover which appeared to be falling apart did not provide the necessary insulation to keep it warm. We at first had a little problem finding the place until we noticed that the sign that directed you up a dirt road had come off the fence post and was lying on the ground. It was described as a romantic cabin. It wasn’t.
