We wanted a property in Newtown, close to our kids. This property was a 10 minute walk to their house and close to all shops and amenities. There was a minor hiccup on our arrival and the owner was amazing. He got onto it straight away, and then followed up to make sure everything was ok. The property had everything we needed. A large living space, and a large bathroom with a bath. We will definitely stay again.

The property is in a great central location, with plenty of parking and easy access from the main road. Check in and check out were simple and hassle free, and the Wi Fi worked well throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the positives were outweighed by several issues. Communication was inconsistent, with some messages ignored completely. On arrival, used towels from the previous guests had been left in the property and, despite notifying the owners, they were never removed.
The cleanliness was well below expectations. There was a lot of dust, the bathroom was stained and dirty, kitchen utensils and cooking equipment were greasy, the laundry was untidy and appeared to be used by cleaners between guest stays, the bedding was stained, and there were also numerous cockroaches throughout the property. The property also showed significant wear and tear. The beds and pillows were very worn and uncomfortable, and although the air conditioners worked, some had been repaired with duct tape.
It's a beautiful property with plenty of potential, but the lack of cleanliness, maintenance and communication meant we did not enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, we would not return.
