The Grand Arbor invites you to renew your connection with the healing power of the earth. Escape into the heart of 42 secluded acres of wooded forest. This four bedroom, three and a half bath family vacation log cabin home is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. This property sleeps 16.
The 2900 square foot cabin was constructed in 2004 and is located in south-eastern Indiana, less than one hour west of Cincinnati or one hour east of Indianapolis in the Metamora/Brookville area. Conveniently located only 10 minutes from Brookville State Park and 5 minutes from the quaint historical town of Metamora, this secluded getaway welcomes you and your guests. Some of our recent visitors tell us that that the Grand Arbor feels like mountain chalet due to its spacious interior.
With large glass windows overlooking a mature woods and creek, the Grand Arbor is nestled in a valley with a southern exposure. Surrounding hiking trails and a multitude of fun outdoor activities are bountiful. Due to its picturesque and convenient location, the Grand Arbor truly is an ideal place for weekend getaways, vacations, family reunions, wedding receptions, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, fishing trips, golf trips and even corporate retreats. There is a game room in the rec room at the ground level which has shuffleboard, poppa shot, and ping pong. This is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike. The outdoor jacuzzi is popular with guests. This is a great way to relax in the warmth of soothing waters outside and enjoy the natural scenery that surrounds the home. Plenty of acreage to hike and explore the property
Wifi has recently been updated to 100 mbs so there shouldnt be any wifi issues as of summer 2024.
Must be 25 to rent.

The property is very quiet and has a great fire pit and deck to enjoy the evening. The kitchen is well equipped and the sitting area easily accommodates 10 people.The beds are comfortable and the linens were very nice.

Our group had several small issues that left us disappointed. Requested light bulb for bathroom on main floor that was very dark, paper towels and additional ping pong paddles since the 2 provided were falling apart. Finally received the lightbulb and paper towels with less than 24 hours of our departure. Told ping pong paddles were not available within a 45 mile drive. The property is nice and we enjoyed the creek and fire-pit. Didn’t really find any trails just a mowed path that didn’t get us very far. Needs a little TLC-exterior door very hard to close, screened room with torn screens, outdoor chairs all had bird poop on them to name a few. Our hope is the owners address the issues so that future renters have the best experience.

Cabin was excellent! Rooms were clean, kitchen had everything that we needed for our group to make a great dinner. We did not use the hot tub although we did open it up to see if it worked (it did.) The fire pit is next to a creek that isn't audible from the cabin but was very relaxing to listen to fireside. Water pressure can be a bit low if multiple showers are in use but that should be expected.

Dishwasher was not installing properly, leaked, and we had to hand wash all dishes. Upstairs shower leaked into main floor bathroom. Garbage pick up and two deliveries of water in the middle of the day on Saturday. Only bery basic cleaning done. Kitchen appliances filthy.
