A pretty and well located cottage, with outdoor seating area, just below the forest edge. Good sized living area, with well equipped kitchen; efficient shower in the bathroom and a small bedroom. Conveniently located for sightseeing of the many castles and attractive old towns in the area, and for walking in the Thuringian forest. Supermarket and open air pool only a few minutes walk away. Herr Umbreit, the owner, is very helpful and great for information on the area.

My wife and I decided to spend a week near Eisenach and Erfurt for the summer holidays. We rented this house, which was clean, well equipped, near Eisenach and with a supermarket and swimming pool around the corner. The garden is nice with a beautiful view on the valley. Stephan is a nice guy and a good host and we had a great time. When we left we forgot to take a jacket and scarf with us, and Stephan was kind enough to mail it.
All in all, highly recommended!
