"Strandleben 09" Vacation Home – Relaxing Family Time Between a Natural Beach and a Sauna

Enjoy breakfast on the west-facing terrace in the morning, spend the day by the water, and unwind in your own sauna in the evening: At the “Strandleben 09” vacation home, you can combine the beauty of nature with modern living comfort. This half of the vacation home is located in the vacation village of Klein Stresow on Rügen’s quiet south coast and offers a comfortable temporary home for up to four people.

Spanning 61 m², the space features an open-concept living and dining area, a modern kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The bedroom layout, featuring one double bed and two single beds, is particularly well-suited for families, but also for friends traveling together. Children are welcome.

Arrive and feel at home

Built in 2021, this vacation home features modern, Scandinavian-inspired decor. The furniture, lighting, and artwork are carefully coordinated, giving the rooms a harmonious look.

Floor-to-ceiling windows let plenty of natural light into the living area and create a seamless transition to the west-facing terrace and the garden. As soon as you arrive, your view opens up and the path to the outdoors unfolds.

Spending time together in the living and dining area

The open living area is designed for shared vacation moments. The sofa with ottoman offers a comfortable spot for reading, watching TV, or relaxing. A fireplace creates a particularly cozy atmosphere on cooler days.

A flat-screen TV is included. Wi-Fi is available free of charge during your stay.

The dining table seats four people. Here, you can enjoy breakfast, meals, games, or plan your next outing together.

Cooking in the open kitchen

The kitchen is open to the living and dining areas. It features high-quality appliances and a complete set of dishes. A dishwasher takes care of the cleanup after meals.

Thanks to the open layout, there’s plenty of room for conversation and spending time together even while preparing meals. Meals can then be enjoyed at the dining table or, weather permitting, on the terrace.

Breakfast and evenings on the west-facing terrace

Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, guests have direct access to the west-facing terrace. There, you can start the day with breakfast in the fresh air.

The terrace also offers a pleasant place to relax in the afternoon and evening. Outdoor furniture is provided, and the adjacent private garden extends the living space outdoors.

Sleep in a double bed or two single beds

The vacation home has two separate bedrooms. The first bedroom features a box-spring double bed with a sleeping surface measuring 1.80 × 2.00 meters.

The second bedroom has two box-spring single beds, each measuring 90 × 200 centimeters. This layout is particularly convenient for parents with children or for guests who prefer separate sleeping arrangements.

Both bedrooms are equipped with a wardrobe and their own flat-screen TV.

Two bathrooms for four guests

Two bathrooms, each with a shower and a toilet, ensure a relaxing start to the day. Guests can use either of the two bathrooms and have plenty of space to freshen up, even after a day at the beach.

The ground-floor bathroom also features a private Finnish sauna. It is part of the vacation home and is available exclusively to its guests.

Towels are provided upon arrival. The beds are already made, so your vacation can begin without any additional preparations.

Private sauna for relaxing evenings

The Finnish sauna makes “Strandleben 09” a pleasant vacation destination even outside the traditional swimming season. After a walk along the water, a bike ride, or an excursion across the island, guests can relax in a private setting.

Afterward, enjoy a quiet evening by the fireplace or on the sofa.

Shared coin-operated machines in the main house

There is no washing machine or dryer in the vacation home. Both machines are available in the main house as shared coin-operated machines. This means you can wash and dry your laundry even during a longer stay.

Walking to the Natural Beach

The vacation home is about 600 meters from a natural beach. You can walk there. A handcart can be used to carry towels, beach bags, and other items.

The nearby Greifswald Bodden shapes the water-rich surroundings. You can go for walks and bike rides, as well as enjoy kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding.

After a day by the water, you can head back to your own garden, the west-facing terrace, or the sauna.

Quiet location on Rügen’s south coast

The Klein Stresow vacation village is situated in a natural setting. Access is via an unpaved, natural road where vehicles must travel at walking speed only.

A reserved parking space is available free of charge for guests’ vehicles.

Shared charging for electric vehicles

There are a total of three charging stations for electric cars in the vacation village. They are not assigned to any specific house but are available for shared use by vacation guests.

A fee based on the length of stay applies for their use. Since no charging cable is provided, you must bring your own compatible cable.

By Train to Klein Stresow

If you’re traveling by train, a shuttle from the Putbus train station to the vacation village can be arranged for a small fee . This makes it possible to reach the accommodation even without your own vehicle.

Fresh rolls and regional products

At Café Klein Stresow, which features a farm shop, guests can get fresh rolls for their vacation breakfast, hot and cold beverages, as well as light meals and snacks. Homemade cakes, ice cream, specialty coffees, and regional products round out the selection.

New Year’s Eve without Fireworks

The vacation village celebrates a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve. Guests spending New Year’s Eve at “Strandleben 09” can thus welcome the New Year without fireworks within the resort.
