This stunning new first floor self contained apartment has the busy vibe of the town and marina from the front lounge and kitchen area, with marina and bridge views. Whilst the bedroom and outdoor balcony area offer a quiet and tranquil space for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine with your morning coffee, the morning birdsong is an absolute delight. Situated very close to restaurants, bars, Nothe Fort and Hope square, whilst the beach is just a short 10 minute stroll around the harbourside
The space
newly renovated 2023 with all new fixtures, fittings and furnishings. The space is very bright and airy with stunning views of the town bridge, harbour and marina. Make a coffee and sit in the bay window and watch the world go by. There is a tv in the lounge and also a tv in the bedroom, a separate toilet and shower room both over looking the balcony area. The bed is a king size bed, full length mirrored wardrobe, double French doors leading to the balcony area, where you will find a table and chairs to relax . The kitchen is equipped with all basic requirements, including a fridge, oven, hob, extractor and dishwasher. A microwave is available to use. Bathroom towels are provided for your stay. A daily maid/cleaner is available on request (chargeable).
Guest access
The house is split into 2 apartments and 2 ensuite rooms (rooms 2 & 3), so there are no shared living spaces in my home. The hallway leads to each accommodation with their own locked doors.
Please note ..... there are 3 steps from the lounge to the bedroom
Other things to note
No infants or children under the age of 12. No pets welcome.
The lounge area does experience some floorboard noise from above, but rest assured that the bedroom area is very peaceful.
A free parking permit is provided with the booking. Parking is street parking in zone L by the south harbourside and Brewers Quay carpark ( zoneLareaonly). Please request the permit when booking. There is a map explaining zone L areas in the entrance hallway
Parking
NOTE. Fayre in the Square and the Wessex Folk Festival (late May, early June) are both free events, offering live music, stalls and entertainment throughout these weekends.
During these events there are road closures and parking restrictions.
There is also a public car park next door for parking. it's free from 6 pm until 8 am. if you purchase a 6 hour ticket at 2 pm, it will take you through til 10 am the following day.

Guess parking could be difficuly with the permit system but I had no problem, still not main season. Ample shops nearby.

Every thing was Excellent! Top class, Apt.5 stars for position. !And cleanliness was top class. ! 5 stars also . Really didnt want to leave !. Owner very kind and informative!Could have sat in the bay window watching life go by. And the bridge going up in the daytime.with the yachts going through from the harbour outside the door to the sea. Fasinating.Found the weymouth people very friendly. One s.mall .niggle ( very small) parking. But it was Easter. And the weather was glorious so everyone came out! To enjoy Weymouth!

Wonderful apartment. Sharon is a great hostess, and we enjoyed meeting her and talking with her. Everything was very neat, clean and tidy, and spacious, even down to the small terrace. All that we required and more was provided. The location was ideal, and the views out to the water and lifting bridge were ever-changing and interesting. It was ideal for our extended stay, of more than two weeks. Thank you, Sharon.
