"Forge Ahead" is a Luxury 2,200 sq' log Cabin located in the beautiful Brookstone Village Resort with access to a community pool.
★ COMMUNITY POOL ★
Community pool is conveniently located just 3 minutes walking distance from the cabin. It is open from May 1st to September 30.
★ BEDROOMS ★
This three-story cabin accommodates up to 14 guests.
Main Level:
- 1 Master bedroom with a King size bed & an in-suite bathroom (sleeps 2).
- The living room can turn into a sleeping space with the Queen sofa bed (sleeps 2).
Lower Level:
- 1 bedroom with a King size bed and a full bathroom (sleeps 2).
Upper Level:
- 1 bedroom with a Queen size bunk bed (sleeps 4) and an in-suite bathroom.
- 1 bedroom with a Full size bunk bed (sleeps 4) and a bathroom.
★ KITCHEN ★
The kitchen is equipped with all the cookware, cutlery, and appliances you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay.
Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, tea kettle, Crockpot, Keurig Duo with carafe & single serve pod coffee maker.
The dining table comfortably seats eight, and there are four additional stools at the large kitchen island so everyone in your group can enjoy meals together.

There is a private Gas Grill. We provide the Gas.

After a day of hiking and sightseeing, you have a lot of options to chill:
*soak in the private hot tub

*take a dip in the pool. Community pool is only 2 min walking distance (open May 1st -September 30th).

All ages will fall in love with this fun space! The room has a billiard table, an arcade game, a lounge area with a large TV where you can watch your favorite shows/games. There is also an assortment of board game & an Xbox.
★ PETS ★
We are a pet friendly cabin and you can bring up to 3 dogs as long as they are house broken/potty trained.
We welcome all breeds of dogs and have no restrictions on weight.
The pet fee is $150 per stay for up to 3 dogs (the fee is not per dog).

No major issues. Minor - the battery died on the electronic door lock. The host immediately provided a resolution. In the second bedroom upstairs, the chain that controls the light on the ceiling fan is missing so we were unable to turn off the light and leave fan on. Again, minor.If you’re looking for the perfect cabin and host, this is it.From the moment I reserved the cabin the host timely responded, pinged us to see how our stay was going and wasn’t intrusive before and during our stay.The cabin is very nice. It’s a great location with a very short drive to the Pigeon Forge strip. The kitchen has everything required to cook any meal minus any food you can get at kroger 8 minutes away.The bathrooms were all clean. Kitchen and bathroom supplies provided by the host were sufficient for our stay. There was plenty of room for my family to relax, watch tv, access WiFi, move around and play games.I was very surprised by the soft mattress in the master bedroom. I didn’t think I would sleep comfortably but I slept very well. Now I wonder if I’ve been sleeping on the wrong mattress at home.I would stay here again.

The house could use an odor elimination air purifier from the smell of dogs. No air fresheners were provided. One of the throw blankets in the game room was covered in dog hair. One of the showers could use some new caulking from the mold stains. No dish brush or sponges provided so it was hard to clean kitchen pans with just dish cloth. Some of the pans need replaced from scratched nonstick pan to burnt on old food in the nonstick pan. Seems the cleaners rely on previous guests to have cleaned the pots and pans and dishes thoroughly. I would suggest a cleaning checklist to make sure all items have been cleaned properly.
