At the heart of the small Caux, just minutes from the beaches of Normandy and the Somme, the closed Charmaine welcomes you in a bucolic and typical.
Our cottage "Barley Grain" is an ancient granary that can accommodate 2 people. Decorated in a subtle blend of styles, mixing recycling craft and countryside, this cocoon shelter your romantic getaways in Normandy.
The cottage is on two levels. The ground floor comprises a fully equipped kitchen and a living. The floor offers a master bedroom with large walk-in shower and separate toilet.
You will have a private space with a dining area with barbecue and living room with chairs and umbrella. The garden offers a view of the horses and cows around with.
Halfway between holiday cottages, Our guest house offers the freedom of a house and the services of a B & B. The bed is made on arrival, tea towels, towels and small provisions are included and you do not have to worry about the cleaning at end of stay.
Parking takes place in the courtyard of the property. The space is lit and closed at night.
Options: baby bed, breakfast, table d'hote evening tasting seafood, picnic basket.

A trip to Normandy to celebrate my birthday, Le Grain d'Orge was all it promised to be.
The welcome was warm, the cottage comfortable with plenty of space to cook, and the meals provided by Julie and served by her family were delicious.
The weather was good as well.
Would return again.

Spent 5 nights at this lovely cottage; ideal for a relaxing couples break in upper Normandy. Check in easy and accomodating nothing was too much trouble. Excellent use of space and comfy bed. Highly recommend and if visiting upper Normandy again will definitely be back.
