LOCATION, LOCATION. This apartment is just off Las Ramblas and the plaza. We are seniors but managed the narrow staircase. As a bonus Mario was there when we arrived and left and he carried our luggage.

We stayed a month here and it was fantastic!
Communication with Mario was great. Great property fit our needs perfectly! Mere steps from all of the action - restaurants, shops, La Rambla, etc. That said, at times there was street noise late at night - mostly celebratory! We are in our late 50s and fit, but if you have severe mobility issues, the narrow spiral stairwell (common in Europe) will be challenging. If not, enjoy!

We had the unfortunate timing of visiting just prior to the Coronavirus lockdown and travel bans and spent a week locked down in this apartment before flying out early, but we were still happy with the apartment. Mario was wonderful and the apartment was everything we hoped for. Would love to come back again for the vacation that was missed.

Overall an amazing month in Barcelona! Mario was a great host and waited for us very late because of a long flight delay. The apartment is in the best location of the city, Plaza Catalunya! It was spotless, modern and very comfortable. The stairs take some getting used to, but was no problem. The AC and wifi were fantastic, as was the clothes washer and dryer. The only negative was the lack of natural sunlight because the next building was so close. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend any friend or family member going to Barcelona to stay with Mario!
