This idyllic holiday home sits atop a small hill between the beaches of Le Rayol and Canadel, offering breathtaking 180-degree views of the open sea, the Îles d’Or, and Cap Nègre – home to Carla Bruni and Nicolas Sarkozy.
The house features three cozy bedrooms and two bathrooms. The well-equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, smoothie maker, and more. The spacious garden and various terraces invite you to relax and unwind, depending on your mood. Due to its hillside location and unsecured terraces, the house is only partially suitable for small children.
If you love the tranquility and beauty of a historic French seaside village, Le Rayol will become your new favorite place. At the same time, the region’s vibrant hotspots are within easy reach: the glamorous Saint-Tropez, with its famous Pampelonne Beach, is just a 35-minute drive away, while the lively city of Toulon can be reached in around 55 minutes.
In the center of Le Rayol, you will find various shops for daily needs, including a supermarket, butcher, bakery, restaurants, a pharmacy, and a post office.

Hiking: The coastal hiking trail, a former railway track, runs below the house and offers spectacular views along an easy path with minimal elevation changes. For experienced hikers, there are numerous challenging routes through the impressive landscape of the Massif des Maures.
Watersports in Cavalière: A paradise for watersport enthusiasts! Activities include windsurfing, sailboat rentals (Hobie Cats), jet skiing, wing foiling, and kayaking.
Buoy in the Bay of Rayol: During the summer months, boat owners can rent a buoy in the Bay of Rayol for boats up to 10 meters, available daily or weekly – including a shuttle service to the beach. A slip service is available at the nearby harbor in Cavalaire sur Mer.

First of all, this place has an amazing view. As far as the living accommodations, they were pretty good. Comfortable beds, air-conditioning, a functional kitchen. Good location. This wasn't my favorite vacation rental because it wasn't stocked and for the price that we paid, we would've appreciated at least some garbage bags, dishwashing pods, or some hand soap. It was annoying to have to go shopping for basic supplies, for the price charged. There were some almost empty bottles of shampoo that we assume other travelers left. They did have a bottle of rosé in the refrigerator, which was nice, but I would've definitely preferred the basic amenities that I mentioned. I also appreciate a Nespresso machine when I go to vacation rental; this unit does not have one. While the kitchen did have a fair amount of tools, there was no bread knife for example, which was annoying. As far as decor, it was not very cohesive or provencal and felt random. There's a big boat stored in the parking area, which makes exiting challenging, and a bin of dirty laundry in the laundry room. For the price I was expecting something a little nicer and more thoughtful touches.

We had a wonderful stay at the house in Rayol. The house itself is very comfortable, with air conditioning in the bedrooms, a brand new kitchen, and a spectacular view. The walk to the beach is not too long, and the beach itself is very pleasant—not too crowded, with a good restaurant as well.The surroundings of the house are lovely. You will find all kinds of nice little shops, such as a bakery, butcher, and more. For those who enjoy sports, there is plenty to do: swimming, hiking, and cycling in the mountains. You can also rent sailing boats nearby.Last but not least, Daniel, the host, made us feel very welcome. We will definitely come back!
