There are places that welcome us. And then, there are places that conquer us. Get to know Vila do Largo by Homie!
Located in the north of Madeira, in the heart of the Laurel Forest, this village is a true refuge of serenity, where the intense green of the forest meets the tranquillity of the rural environment.
The accommodation invites moments of leisure and relaxation, with a private outdoor area perfect for unwinding, Wi-Fi access, air conditioning and free parking, ensuring comfort and practicality in every detail.
Vila do Largo has been carefully designed to provide a memorable stay. With modern and welcoming interiors, it offers a harmonious living and dining room, a bedroom with private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an attractive leisure area, perfect for enjoying moments of rest or socialising.
The exterior of the villa is equally charming: a private space where you can relax after a meal, contemplate the surrounding nature and feel the serenity that only Madeira can offer.
The location is privileged: approximately 2 km from the Madeira Natural Caves, 5 km from the Quebra Mar revolving restaurant and the Calamar swimming pools, 10 km from the Véu da Noiva Viewpoint, the Seixal Naval Club and the Seixal natural pool, and just 15 km from the famous natural pools of Porto Moniz. For those arriving by plane, Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport in Madeira is 45 km away, with airport transfer service available upon request.
A Vila do Largo by Homie is not just an accommodation. It is an invitation. An invitation to slow down, to breathe, to feel and to explore Madeira at your own pace, between levadas, hiking trails and landscapes that stay forever in your memory.
Guests are responsible for the proper use of the accommodation and its respective equipment. Damage, loss or misuse identified during or after the stay may be subject to the application of a damage fee, intended to cover repair, replacement or extraordinary cleaning costs.
Since 2017, we have welcomed travellers from all over the world to our beloved island of Madeira, with a commitment to providing memorable experiences and excellent service. We started as Madeira Sun Travel, a name that reflected the sun, comfort and welcoming spirit that has always guided us.
Over time, we realised that we wanted to go further: more closeness, more authenticity, more connection.
That's how Homie was born. More than a new name - a new way of being.
Each stay is thought through in detail to be special and welcoming. Each house has its own story. And each guest is received as an old friend.
Beyond comfort and hospitality, we also provide, upon request, additional services such as car rental, activity bookings, personalised experiences and much more - all so that you can make the most of Madeira.
Whether you are a traveller looking for a special spot or a property owner looking for someone to care for your home with dedication, you are in the right place.
Homie - Your home away from home, on the beautiful island of Madeira.

The apartment is one of 2 that have been segmented in the basement of the house. The front side of the unit has a nice view; the sides and back have no windows. It is small and cozy and has what you need as a couple. Comfortable and well located if you have a car.

We had a great time in San Vicente. The flat was just what we needed: good kitchen, big and clean bathroom, good sized bedroom, outdoor patio with a view and a great location a bit farther away from all the tourist activity. The place lacks direct sunlight bc there’s only two windows but the sun really comes strong over the mountains when it does

Since 1st moment had great experience with host, messaging me in advance to get confirmation and let me know everything ready in advance. Place is nice and clean, towels, bedding, great range of items in the kitchen. Breath taking view, location in the middle of island perfect!

Quiet location, beautiful view. Most of the time we sat outside, facing south. Sun coming up, sun going down. We could feel it.
The house was well equiped, with an eye for detail and hour host really friendly and helpful.
