Escape to the heart of the Smoky Mountains with this charming A-frame cabin, perfect for a cozy retreat or adventurous getaway. Nestled among towering pines, the cabin offers a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. A Pet Friendly cabin perched on a hillside overlooking the beauty of Smoky Mountains and minutes from the Smoky Mountains, Ober Mountain and downtown Gatlinburg. You will experience the beauty of a A-Frame cabin in the woods.
Inside, you'll find handcrafted tongue and groove woodwork throughout and windows that frame outside views. The cabin was crafted to consider all guests including an easy access no step ramp to the deck and into the front door. Two lower level bedrooms have approximately 32" doorways for easy access. Pet fee required for our pet owners, $150 per stay, 2 Dogs maximum.

-Parking on paved driveway
Guest count:
-Maximum 8 Guests.
Age:
-All guests must be 25+ with the exception of children with their parents.
Smoking:
- Cabin is 100% NON-SMOKING.
Parties:
-No Big Parties or excessive noise. We have some neighbors that are permanent residents. We request quiet time outside be between 10pm to 8am.
Hot Tub:
-The hot tub is for guests 18+. Do NOT use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Bears:
- It is not uncommon to see a bear. Please do not try to get close or feed the bear. Please keep all exterior doors and windows locked. Also keep all car doors locked at all times.
Critters:
- We maintain the property with monthly pests control. However, you may still see some bugs and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them.
Weather:
-No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage. One security camera on the front roofline and one security camera on the rear roofline.
Starter Pack:
-We provide a starter pack consisting of:
1 single use shampoo, 1 single use conditioner, 1 single use body wash, 1 bar of soap per bathroom, 2 dishwasher tablets, 1 laundry detergent packet, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. 2 trash bags per bin and coffee. Linens provided, 3 King, 1 Queen, 8 washcloths, 12 towels, 3 hand towels and 3 makeup. All other items will need to be provided by the guest.

This cabin is fantastic. Exactly as described and very comfortable and spacious. Clean and all the amenities you could need. If I added anything it would be a couple extra dish towels and maybe a gate across the deck entrance so pups could roam off leash. However, we had multiple bear visits all the way up to the front and back doors so a gate might have encouraged us to not be as vigilant watching for them. We couldn’t find the lights on the hot tub but that could be user error. But these are tiny suggestions and have no influence on us wanting to stay here again in the future. We are locals so finding a great place to bring our pets and still get the mini-vacay vibe is sometimes hard to do. This is the spot! Great location too. Close enough to whatever you need and nothing like other windy roads with dangerous inclines and drop offs. We had a blast!

Beautiful, fully equipped cabin. Close to town. Walking distance to convenience store (just downhill). Responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was everything we wanted and more. Would have loved for the jacuzzi to have been enclosed due to the mosquitoes outside of that a 10/10 for sure. Would definitely recommend/rebook:

Everything about Paws in the Woods was wonderful. From the quality of furnishings to the upper end kitchen. We even got visited by a mama bear and three cubs.
