!! GOLDEN LOCATION!!
Beach Colony Oceanfront Resort is located on the exclusive Golden Mile, which is a much less crowded and more family-oriented section of Myrtle Beach. It's the perfect spot for a relaxing get-away that also offers an incredible number of activities and entertainment options within just a few miles.
Because our condo is an end unit, it has more windows, more space, more privacy, and less noise than the standard units. The additional windows flood the condo's living spaces with light, providing a bright and comfortable "home away from home". The balcony is situated so that it provides more privacy than most as well, allowing a gorgeous OCEAN VIEW of the beach and ocean.
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Our condo's full renovation includes updated cabinets, appliances and granite counter tops. You will enjoy modern and comfortable furniture throughout as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The condo has 3 Smart TVs with Cable TV (including HBO), and free wireless internet access. We have provided plenty of books and games as well as a highchair and portable crib for families traveling with small children. The condo also comes equipped with a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has two full-sized beds. Additionally, the living room has a full-size pull-out couch.

Location to the beach was excellent and the resort pools were very nice. Communication with the host was wonderful with timely responses. Resort grounds and rooms are clearly marked no smoking and no vaping. On the weekend we had to leave the resort grounds because of the strong marijuana smell. Sadly there is no way to really address this. Plan to bring your own toilet paper. I believe the host may make this more clear in the information of what is provided and not provided. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

The space was plenty for 2 adults and 2 children and could have easily fit 4 adults. The kitchen was equipped with essential cooking equipment and the space was well decorated and cleaned. We did give it a good wipe down when we got there but that's what we usually do. Our door lock stopped accepting our code in the middle of the week, but maintenance was able to fix it in about an hour by replacing the batteries. The owners are very quick to respond. The elevators are also quick. The grounds were as clean as can be expected--the kids loved the arcade, the bar food was great, the drinks were great, and the pools were perfect for our family. The beach was NoT overly crowded, even on the 4th of July. Grocery delivery services will deliver to this resort which is very convenient, but I would not recommend delivery on a Sunday because it will not arrive on time--do a pickup instead or a Monday delivery. All linens provided were perfect, and we used the washer/dryer daily. My only recommendation is to be sure to pack kitchen towels and extra paper towels & toilet paper. Would recommend this stay!

The room it self was exactly as advertised. Clean, stocked kitchen utensils, rooms and balcony exactly as pictured. Pool and beach access, awesome. Tons of things for my 7 year old to do. Easy access for my 70+ parents. Property owners kept in touch with us, answered all my questions before hand. Not a bad thing to say about them! Our reason for the 3 star rating is because the parking at The Beach Colony Resort is horrendous. We have an F150 and there were only 20 spots for pick up trucks and large SUV's. Horrible to pull the truck in, if we could get a spot at all. Terrible to get out. To the point that we didn't want to leave our spot so we didn't have to fight to get back in. We ended up using Uber which added a couple hundred dollars to our trip that we weren't accounting for.
As I said though the room, pools, and property owner were awesome and exactly as advertised.
