Start your mornings with the soothing sound of surf and the scent of fresh salt air. Our private sandy beach is perfect for swimming, kayaking, or simply soaking up the sun. Unwind on the spacious back porch, where you’ll enjoy unforgettable sunsets and a gentle, salty breeze. At night, gather around the cozy wood stove or stargaze under a brilliant sky.
Historic Charm Meets Modern Comfort
Originally built in 1935, Saltwater Serenade is a lovingly updated family cabin with all the essentials—WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen (perfect for preparing fresh, local seafood!), and a clean, spacious Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Sleep peacefully in the comfortable bedroom with a double bed, or the bright sleeping nook with a queen bed and panoramic water views.

Bring your furry friend! Dogs are welcome and will love exploring the beach by your side.
Explore the Best of Coastal Maine
You’ll be close to Acadia National Park (less than an hour away!), the historic town of Ellsworth (28 miles), and charming Winter Harbor (just 10 minutes, with ferry access to Bar Harbor and local shopping).

We drove 1400 miles to experience the beauty of the east coast and especially Maine. What a trip of a lifetime! The cottage was absolutely perfect and the views from the back porch were stunning. Quiet, relaxing and pure beauty! Highly recommend! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because it was more than perfect!

Absolutely lovely cabin! Quiet, calm, secluded and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for! We will Def be booking again, hopefully in a few months. The beach was perfect, the sunrise through the large windows and cool air coming off the ocean was exactly the reset we needed! However, be mindful that there's isn't laundry on site, nor cutlery so plan accordingly. We have 2 young children that loved to get messy on beach but thankfully grandparents are 10 minutes away and I believe there's a place in Winter Harbor for laundry.Thank you for the retreat, great gem!

Private spot right on the water. Gorgeous sunrises. We saw seals, eagles, herons, deer, rabbits, and more all from the front porch. Perfect for our extended weekend getaway. We will be back.
