A sidewalk leads directly from the Beacon Villas neighborhood to the Shad Street beach access, located less than half a mile from the house, for a short walk or bike ride to the beach. A trolley stop is located just 300 feet from the house and will take you anywhere in the community. Take a ride over to the Oceanfront Complex for a full day of fun in the sun. Over on the soundside, Vitamin Sea is only half a mile from the Corolla Light Sports Center. This 36,000 sq. ft. facility includes an indoor pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a fitness center with showers and a sauna, racquetball, walleyball, ping pong, and weekly classes/activities.
