A very secure, well appointed apartment with easy access to the pool (over the road) and marina. Diogo is an excellent host and communicates well. Fully functional air conditioning in all rooms which is a massive plus. Newly installed boiler had a water leak caught in a jug which we had to empty (Diogo aware and awaiting an engineer). Building work being carried out in upstairs flat during the first few days which created some noise in the mornings. They were the only negative points (and won't re-occur). I can highly recommend this apartment.

Diogo was a wonderful host, he even picked us up at the train station which was totally unexpected. The apartment is very central to everything. Many restaurants in the Marina area. The closest beach was a ten minute walk. And only a 25 minute stroll to the Quarteira boardwalk and beach.

Location and space was great. Furniture a little tired although functional - larger bathroom towels would have been nice. Check-in instructions were not up to date and this is a problem after you have been travelling for 24 hours. We had an issue with the electricity and fire alarm which might have been avoided with better maintenance checks?
