Notch Estates is tucked back in the scenic Branson West, not too far from SDC (you can hear the train whistle and watch the fireworks from the balcony every night!) Branson West is perfect for those who want to stay away from all the hustle and bustle of Branson, yet it's a short 10-minute drive to the strip when you want to venture out.
This condo is gorgeous and the photos depicted are accurate. It's small, but worked well for 2 adults and 2 older teenagers.
What few complaints we had were minor: there was only 1 washcloth between both bathrooms ... we bought a big package at Walmart during our stay (and just decided to leave them). The mattress is memory foam and not very comfortable; after the first night, my husband and I slept on the couch and loveseat the rest of our stay. It wasn't that big of a deal, but if you have a bad back you may want to keep this in mind. Also, the bathtubs are oddly narrow, so forget about soaking after a long, busy day (the shower, however, has great water pressure.)
You can definitely hear everything happening in the unit directly above you. This became a big problem in the evenings/during the night.
Despite these inconveniences, we were generally satisfied with our stay here. The price-point fit well within our budget, it was super clean, had beautiful scenery, and close enough to the strip that we could take breaks throughout the day and then go back when we were ready for more.
