Our cozy cabin #2 is non-smoking, no pets and has 2 queen beds. The Cabin features Lodge Theme Decor. It has a kitchenette with a 2 burner stove top, NO OVEN, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, and all of your cooking and eating utensils. It also has a table and chairs, full bath, hair dryer, Direct TV and WIFI! We also have a gas grill and patio available for your use. There is also your own table and chairs outside your cabin for your enjoyment. We do not have air conditioning. We are located at 7800 feet in elevation and it gets cool at night. We do have a ceiling fan and provide a box fan and all windows have screens. You will check in at the Elk Horn Lodge Office from 3 PM - 7 PM Fall and Winter and 3 PM - 9 PM Summer .

We stayed in Cabin 2 and it was clean and private. We loved staying near this entrance of the park, away from all the crowds and so close to the best wildlife areas in YNP. It’s secluded, so if that’s what you’re looking for then this little town has it all and Elk Horn Lodge was a great little place to spend a couple of nights.

Perfect location, within walking distance to everything in Cooke City. It’s older but very comfortable beds and very clean.

I stayed in Cabin 2 for two nights during the Forget-Me-Knot Festival in Cooke City on August 16 & 17. The cabin was quite spacious and very clean. I didn't use the kitchenette much, but it seemed to be well-stocked. It is close to everything but then, Cooke City is small. The nights I was there, it was quiet; the cabin is a bit off the main street that runs through town. I went to Yellowstone National Park two mornings and was back in time for the festival. The park's NE entrance is 5-10 minutes away. I would definitely stay at Elk Horn Lodge again!
