With direct access to the freshwater pond just feet away, you can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing at any time in the pristine non-tidal water. Or simply sit on the dock or deck, taking in the tranquil views of the water and sounds of bull-frogs. You'll have pine needles at your feet, leaves over your head, and the smell of smoke from the fire in the air. Though the distant sounds of a car passing by can be heard on occasion from across the water, this property is located on a private road, offering a buffer from the hustle and bustle of the tourist seaside town. Here, the sounds of bass splashing in the water and the call of loons will more often grab your attention. It's a great little spot to watch the sunset over the pond or enjoy a morning coffee while listening to the melodic songs of birds.

The property was peaceful and serene. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and caught & released some good size large mouth bass. The water was clean and great to swim in. Meredith our host was very friendly and communicative with us. Great place, great time, and great memories. We will definitely be back!We suggest visiting the nearby Botanical gardens. It’s worth it!

We can not say enough good things about this cottage!!!It is better than the pictures!The view from kitchen, dining room and living room is magical! Everything you need here to have a great family vacation!We had a sort of family reunion, lobster and steamers, full Maine Experience.We can’t wait to book again this fall!

The cottage had the BEST views of our 2 week long New England trip. The cabin was comfortable and close to Boothbay Harbor, just a short drive to town. Sitting on the porch each morning was absolute beautiful! One of us even saw an American Mink one morning after catching his breakfast! We will define stay here again when we come to New England.

We had a wonderful stay in Boothbay! I love that we could stay on the water at the pond while also being able to see the ocean. We even saw a bald eagle for the first time across the pond! The property was clean, had everything we needed (including fishing poles) and was well stocked. I would stay here again!
