Thorn cottage is a quaint 300 year old cottage set in the rural village of Combeinteignhead, which is close to the River Teign, Teignmouth, Shaldon and Torquay beaches and Dartmoor. The river Teign is 10 minutes walk away, Shaldon and Teignmouth beaches a 10 minutes drive. Dartmoor a 20 minutes drive. There are beautiful walks for your four legged friends from the village and have beautiful views over the Teign Estuary. There are excellent local pubs in walking distance.
The cottage has two double bedrooms, one with a four poster bed, a double bedroom and a bed settee in the living room.
It has a beautiful appointed large kitchen/diner with granite worktops. Washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and large range oven.
The living room has a wood burning log fire and storage heater and has a smart TV and DVD player. Wifi (unlimited downloads).
There is private parking in front of the cottage.
In the court yard there is a barbecue and furniture for outside dining. It is a lovely sun trap. Also has an outside toilet.
The bathroom has a large shower and roll top claw foot bath.

A lovely old cottage, nice bedrooms and bathroom. Very well equipped kitchen. Really nice Pub just down the road in the village.

We had a fantastic few days at the cottage over Christmas.Attention to detail was second to none. It felt very homely, just like home from home.It was warm, comfortable and cosy.Gill was a great host and communication was excellent! Thank you!

Thorn Cottage is bursting with period features. Gill was very welcoming, showing us around on arrival. We ate at The Wild Goose on both nights of our stay and highly recommend both the pub and Thorn Cottage.
