Inside, you'll find a comfortable lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite, and a second double bedroom with an adjoining single room—ideal for a child. A contemporary family bathroom completes the space, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Step outside into a tranquil garden surrounded by open farmland, with scenic footpaths right from your doorstep. You're just moments from Alverstone Nature Reserve—a haven for wildlife, photography, and peaceful walks—and directly opposite Borthwood Copse, where ancient woodland and red squirrels await.
Enjoy easy access to the sandy beaches, shops, and restaurants of Sandown and Shanklin, while still feeling tucked away in nature.

We chose this because we needed somewhere suitable for elderly parents in their eighties who are less mobile, and having all the amenities on one floor was essential. We also needed a location suitable for a large dog, it fulfilled both criteria. The accommodation was ample for four adults and a dog, the countryside around it was fantastic for dog walks and close to venues suitable for the elderly parents. The host was friendly and accommodating and there was nothing negative about our stay. I would highly recommend this venue.

From the moment we arrived we received 5* treatment. Yasmin was warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much hassle. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The lodge was very clean and cosy, and beds super comfortable. There were lots of animals on the farm and Yasmin spent an hour of her time showing us round and allowing our son to feed them. The views are outstanding and location perfect for exploring the IOW.

We had a lovely time at the lodge. It was very clean and comfortable. The garden had artificial grass which was good for keeping doggy paws clean but also access to the owners field. We enjoyed seeing all the animals sheep, dogs, horses and alpacas. There was a footpath from the cottage to The Pointer Inn which we visited a couple of times. We travelled all over the island going to pubs, castles and beaches and it was a good base. Owners were very friendly welcoming us but leaving us to ourselves unless we wanted help.
