We had a wonderful week at the lake! We all enjoyed fishing, campfires, games, movies, walks, the farmers market and thrifting at local stores. I was worried about having 1 bathroom for 9 of us but it worked out fine-there is a nice bathroom at the park close by if ever in a pinch! The sunsets were beatiful over the lake! Nice way to end the summer!

We stayed for a conference we were attending. It was nice to relax after a long days with lots of people and sessions. The location was was great. We wish we would have had time to enjoy the lake and cottage more.

The host thought of everything! Games, water activities, fishing supplies, fire pit needs, kitchen & bath supplies…. the list could go on! My kids (8 & 5) had the best time jumping off the dock and aqua mat while my husband and I enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the deck every morning and evening. The lake is very quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The host left a list of things to do in the area & kept the communication open during the week. We enjoyed a local supper club, nature center, & bakery. Most things, you will need to drive 15-20 minutes for. Our favorite breakfast spot was Urban Fuel & we enjoyed Deland Park in Sheboygan. Before heading out to an establishment be sure to go online and check when they are open. Another thing you may want to consider is bringing a mirror. There is one mirror- which was fine for our family but if you are traveling with teenage girls it might be a bit more challenging. My family and I had a wonderful stay. My nieces loved the kayaks and paddle boat , they did not want to leave . It was a beautiful view and I can’t wait to come back !
