What a wonderful stay in a beautiful setting! The chalet has everything you need for a relaxing stay, full kitchen and a comfortable deck for enjoying the beautiful weather. Joanne was very responsive and made sure we had what we needed. A hiking trail in the backyard takes you right into Wilmington where you will find excellent coffee, restaurants, and a terrific bookstore. Bennington and Brattleboro are only 20 miles away and Mount Snow is a 20 minute drive. Highly recommend this property, looking forward to staying again!

We had a wonderful time and everything was perfect! The location is just outside of town. Far enough that we COULD walk, but it would be far in the winter. We drove and parked next to South Main, where we enjoyed a few dinners with our family.It’s a few minutes down the road from Shaw’s and we got a lot of groceries there to cook and snack on throughout our stay. The beds were so comfortable that we slept better than we do at home. Upstairs are the 2 big beds with the bunk bed on the first floor. Outside there’s a walking trail that leads to a lake. We didn’t try the fire pit or the grill due to icy conditions.Despite being a frozen tundra outside, we were warm and cozy inside. We had plenty of coffee, hot cider, and hot chocolates for the Keurig. Everything was warm, cozy, and comfortable for our entire family. Thank you to the owners for a perfect place to stay!
