Nestled in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest, the cabin offers a perfectly central location for exploring the surrounding area. Enjoy scenic hikes on all-terrain trails, charming historic downtowns, waterfalls, and breathtaking views at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising—just 20 minutes away. For a change of pace, the vibrant city of Marquette is an easy 40-minute drive, offering shopping, dining, and nightlife.

The cabin is well-suited for couples, families, and friends. Inside, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, serving dishes, glassware, stove, oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and ample space to prepare meals together. The cabin is fully furnished and includes electricity, heat, running water, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. With four beds, the space comfortably sleeps up to eight guests. All bedding and bath linens are provided for your convenience.
The outdoor space is just as inviting, featuring a large deck, charcoal grill, lakeside bonfire pit, and expansive front and back yards—perfect for yard games and outdoor fun. We are dog friendly and located on dirt roads, adding to the authentic Up North cabin experience.

We were very satisfied with the cabin. It fulfilled all our needs for our family of 8 and 2 dogs. We had plenty of sleeping room and relaxing room. Everyone seem to have the space they needed and it all worked out well for us! We all enjoyed our week stay! Was just what we needed!

Cabin has a beautiful setting on a quiet lake. Cabin was clean, beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Host was very responsive. One slight draw back is, it is quite a ways from the main highway on gravel roads which adds time to get to area attractions. Even with that though, we would still recommend this beautiful property.

My review is mixed. I enjoyed my stay, the location is beautiful and peaceful, but the cabin has a number of construction issues that need to be addressed. The positives: aesthetically pleasing cabin, kayaks and lake are great, layout accommodated our group. The negatives: outlets are loose (i.e., junction boxes not properly attached), stair risers are different heights presenting a safety hazard when climbing to the loft, kitchen faucet is loose, smoke detector not properly installed, switches in unintuitive locations, unfinished wood trim in bathroom presents a growth spot for mold (discoloration has started in corners). Overall we enjoyed the stay but found these issues frustrating.
