Located in a prime position, just 70m from the shoreline and close to a popular beach front taverna (seasonal) serving traditional Greek cuisine, Menta Villa is a wonderful choice for those wanting to be close to the coast and amenities.
The property is approximately 10 minutes' walk from the large and impressive beach at Tavronitis, although guests will be pleased to know that there are plenty of spots even closer to the villa in which to relax and enjoy a cooling dip.

The village of Tavronitis is situated inland and can be reached on foot in approximately 15 minutes. It is a charming village that offers visitors a more laid-back experience compared to some of the busier tourist spots on the island. It is known for its rural charm, natural beauty, and proximity to both the sea and the mountains. Here you will discover several traditional tavernas and cafes, offering freshly prepared dishes, such as moussaka, souvlaki, and grilled fish, along with homemade raki and local wines. Dining in Tavronitis allows guests to experience authentic Cretan hospitality in a relaxed and unhurried environment. Close by there a handful of local shops where you can buy fresh produce and everyday essentials.

Menta Villa sits within a group of four villas sharing a gated entrance. Steps lead up to the accommodation which consists of a modern, light and fresh kitchen area with breakfast bar and the living space which opens out on to the inviting pool terrace, the perfect place to start your day. Both bedrooms have a contemporary minimalistic style and benefit from their own en suite shower rooms.

The nearby coastline is pebbly with clear waters, making it suitable for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling. It does not get as busy as some of the more well known beaches on the island, meaning a peaceful day by the sea can be enjoyed even during the most popular times of the year. For those seeking more action, boat trips and watersports are also available.

Being located close to the neighbouring properties Sage Villa (next door), Myrtle Villa and Diktamos Villa (both in front) means Menta could be a good choice for an extended family or a group of friends who can be near to each other whilst retaining their own individual space and privacy Menta Villa & Sage Villa are located next to each other and are a mirror image
Please note: The Greek Government charge a Climate Tax which is payable by guests staying in hotels and other properties. For Menta Villa the charge is a flat rate of €15 (£13.04) per night. For your convenience we will add this amount to your booking, rather than you having to pay it in resort.
