Beautiful, new, fully furnished cabin sitting on the bank of the Little Missouri River. Watch kayaks and canoes float by from the spacious deck. Screened-in porch for outdoor dining or family game night. Large living area to accommodate the whole group. Enjoy playing pool, oversized Jenga, board games, or just relaxing from the porch swing when you aren't out on the river or digging for diamonds. The cabin is equipped with an electric fireplace as well as free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, an outdoor charcoal grill and a beverage and wine cooler. Plenty of covered parking is available.
The cabin is just minutes from Murfreesboro, where you will find mini-golf, paintball, an arcade, restaurants, and shopping centered around the town square. Beautiful Lake Greeson is only 20 minutes away. There you can rent boats or jet skis by the day. From Swaha Marina, you can enjoy a day on the lake fishing for crappie or spend the day trout fishing on the Little Missouri River below Lake Greeson Dam. Explore the Little Missouri River Falls for another beautiful day in nature! And don't forget about the diamond mine that is only minutes away! We try to accommodate you bringing your pet (dogs only, please), but please note our pet policy and that there is a pet fee if you choose to bring them.

We enjoyed our stay at River Oaks. The house was perfect for our two families with 7 kids ages 19-5. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The pool table was a huge hit. The only downside was that the weather didn’t cooperate at all. Historical rainfall meant the river was not swimmable while we were there. Also, we were on a river in summertime so the bugs loved the area as well. I highly recommend taking advantage of the screened in porch in the evenings. It’s a great amenity and is really well built. In spite of the weather, we still had a great time. We explored Murfreesboro and Nashville and even took a rafting trip down the Caddo River. This house was a great home base for exploring the area. It was quiet and secluded and great for family time. Finally, I’m a beginner birder and I thoroughly enjoyed birding from the front porch and even taking evening walks down the gravel road. I saw indigo buntings, eastern king birds, summer tanagers, great Egrets, a great blue heron, prothonotary warblers, just to name a few. Terrie was an excellent host and extremely helpful.

The cabin was wonderful! There's not a lot to do in Nashville but there is in Murfreesboro! We had a lot of fun!

Everything was wonderful, except the picture of the river showed where you had rocks and acccess. However, there was no clear access to the river. It was grown up with grass and weeds. That was disappointing for the kids that wanted to swim. If we had known, I would have booked another cabin. The cabin itself was great and everything it was supposed to be to be. I did recommend that the owner put in a grab bar in the master shower. I took a shower and it was slick as glass! I almost fell four times. I had to put a towel on the seat to sit on it. I have RA and am older, but I’m sure others would appreciate the safety too. On the whole we truly enjoyed our 4 days there.

Great experience all the way around. Property was excellent, Host was excellent and the home was lovely! That being said you need to know you have about 1-2 miles of gravel road to the house once you get to Harris Rd. Also need to make sure you bring adult beverages or alcohol with you as this county and surrounding counties are Dry Counties.
