Set on 3.75 private acres near Louisville, Glencairn Knoll is a beautifully updated 1958 Kentucky country home with the warmth and character of an established property, thoughtfully set up for the way families travel today.
Five king beds mean no bad room assignments. A main-level suite gives grandparents or anyone avoiding stairs an easy option. Two separate upstairs wings add privacy. And with a pool, covered hot tub, game rooms, karaoke, indoor play spaces, a large kitchen, and nearly four private acres, the house itself becomes part of the trip.
Children follow mystery clues and make snow cones. Teenagers head for the arcade or pool. Grandparents join the games. Someone who swore they wouldn’t sing ends up with the karaoke microphone.

Ten guests sleep in five king beds across four spacious bedrooms. Two additional guests can use the queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded mattress in the separate Speakeasy Lounge.
The main-level primary suite has its own private bathroom.
Upstairs, the home divides into two wings, each served by its own full bathroom.
That means different generations and family units can stay under one roof without feeling on top of one another.

This place is amazing! The host was so easy to work with. Our grandchildren wanted us to buy this house so we could continue coming back! We never needed to leave and look for attractions or something to do. Every bedroom room was so roomy and comfy.The master bath is something you want all your quests to experience. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook amazing meals. The basement and the garage space was filled with tons of activities for every age. Thank you for a most memorable stay!

My family enjoyed the house. We loved the pool and hot tub and there were so many other things we could do while staying in the house. The kids loved all of the games and the karaoke. The house fit our needs perfectly and the hosts were very kind and helpful.

This is an amazing property, very well appointed and many thoughtful touches. (Our grandkids loved the snow cone machine!) It's close enough to Louisville for all the tourist sites and activities but far enough away for peace and privacy. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well supplied. There are several cabinets reserved for guests' food which doesn't always happen!The pool and hot tub are great. The pool cover takes a little extra effort but is worth it.An air conditioner unit that cools 2 of the bedrooms broke but was dealt with promptly. Communication was exceptionally responsive.
