Über diese haus dieses Ferienunterkunft
The Atlantic Stone House is a historic 17th-century stone home that has been carefully restored and updated over the years, with major renovations completed in 2021 and further enhancements added more recently.
Set in an elevated countryside position near Doolin, the house enjoys beautiful sunsets with open views towards the Atlantic, the Aran Islands and glimpses of the Cliffs of Moher in the distance. Large windows and a glass door frame the surrounding landscape and fill the home with natural light.
Inside, the property balances heritage character with modern comfort. A striking staircase and traditional architectural details reflect the home’s history, while a recently updated kitchen creates a welcoming space for cooking and gathering.
Each bedroom includes its own en suite bathroom, offering privacy and convenience for families and groups seeking space, comfort and an authentic west coast stay.

Lovely large home very near to Doolin and the Doolin ferry. We loved the sunset! Doolin is a fun village and we were able to walk to a pub from the house. A great experience and the perfect spot to stay while doing a day trip out to Inishmore.

It's not immediately clear from the listing that this home is a part of a cluster of buildings which seem like they were perhaps a hotel/lodge of some kind in the past, and the complex seems to be under continued upgrade or improvement with some heavy equipment coming and going during our stay. Ensuite baths for each bedroom are terrific for group stays, though the hallway and stairways with isolating fire doors make the home feel a bit more institutional. Location is wonderful and the area is absolutely lovely.
