Beautiful lodge surrounded by nearly 40 acres of timber with hiking trails and a pond. Enjoy the amazing sunsets on our wrap around porch. Sit out by the fire under the stars roasting marshmallows The kids are sure to enjoy the fresh air.
Enjoy our game room and spending time with your loved ones. Put a puzzle together or play a board game.
Enjoy our (2) spacious kitchens for cooking, baking or grab takeout from historic downtown Washington Town Square restaurants.
If you feel up for a scenic drive, visit beautiful Mount Pleasant, where Old Threshers is held every year at the end of August, beginning of September. Visit our Swinging Bridge in Colombus Junction or take a drive to Iowa City/Coralville (home of the Hawkeyes) and enjoy shopping, at Coral Ridge Mall. Short drive to Riverside Casino, Event Center and Golf Resort.
Sleep soundly on our luxurious bedding and upgraded pillows. Cozy up in front of the fireplace with a good book and shut the world out if you so choose.

This place makes for an amazing getaway to connect with loved ones, relax in secluded beauty, and feel the peace of being still. Came here with a group of 15 and greatly enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and accommodating. Thanks for making this an incredible experience for us!

Beautiful property with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for large families and/or veterans to come together. What a wonderful memorial and place of honor. We loved our brief stay. Grounds offered plenty of space for kids to explore outside. Host was friendly and communicated checkin well.

Property/lodge was nice, but the horrible communication by the host significantly impacted our stay. I reached out after booking (prior to our stay) with an easy question and it took the host almost three days to respond. The listing also said lockbox code would be provided day of check in (a pain, as we were traveling and the property is located in a remote area with bad cell coverage). No code or instructions were provided that day, even by 4:00pm check in time, so I called and the cell number was unreachable. I messaged via the app right after that (from an area that had cell coverage) and the host replied a hour and a half later saying the house is unlocked and the key was inside. There was also a significant amount of someone’s left over food in the refrigerator and two of the beds were unmade.Very frustrating.
